An incredible guy named Mike Jeffery sent me some photos today that meant a lot. A couple years ago about 5000 copies of my first album were sent to all the Canadian soldiers stationed in Kadahar Afghanistan. I was fortunate to have connected with some of the soldiers and learned a lot about the reality of the situation over there. They truly are hero’s and I am so lucky to have had the chance to get to know some of them. It was really incredible getting to know Mike. He was one of the men responsible for working the helicopters that transported the Canadian soldiers, when it became to dangerous to travel by land.
